Who we are and what these terms cover
inlocal is operated by PROJECT82 LLC, 30 North Gould Street, STE R, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, United States ("inlocal", "we", "us"). These terms govern the inlocal service: managed local social-media accounts operated on real phones with local SIM cards, on which a person on our side publishes the content you hand in. By applying for, ordering or using the service you accept these terms. If you order for a company, you confirm that you may bind that company.
The managed slot
Every plan is built on a managed slot. A slot is a social-media account that inlocal creates and owns: the account, its mailbox, its phone number and its two-factor authentication belong to inlocal and stay with inlocal. The account is warmed by us before your brand goes on it, and it is operated from a phone that we own and keep.
You own your brand, your content and your performance data. Everything you hand in stays yours, and the statistics of the posts we publish for you are yours to export at any time while your plan is active and for 30 days after it ends.
There is no device handover and no credential handover. We do not log in to accounts that you already own, and we do not hand you the login of a managed account. This is how we keep the account's local signals intact; it is a condition of the service, not an option.
What we do, and what we never do
A person on our side presses Post. Nothing is automated. Every publication is a person on a real phone opening the app, pasting your caption and pressing the platform's own publish button, and we keep a receipt of it (a hash of the file and caption, the phone, the time, and the post link) that you can see on your dashboard.
We do not do likes, follows or comments. Account warming consists of viewing and scrolling only. We do not run scripts inside the platform apps, we do not buy engagement, and we do not inflate reach by any artificial means. If a platform later allows an official publishing method that keeps the account's local standing, we may use it, but we will tell you first.
We publish within the daily limits we set for each account and within each platform's rules. We may decline, hold or edit-request any item that in our judgement would breach a platform's policy, applicable law or these terms, and we will tell you why.
Your content
You hand in a clip (or an image, where the platform allows it) and a caption for each post. You confirm that you hold every right needed to publish that material on the platform in the target country: the footage, the music, the faces and the marks in it. You will not hand in material that impersonates a person or brand, that infringes a third party's rights, that is unlawful where it is published, or that targets minors with advertising.
We do not read your caption for anything other than the checks these terms describe, and we delete the clip file from our systems once the post is confirmed; we keep the hash and the post link as the receipt.
Promotional posts and the ad label
Promotional posts carry #ad and the platform's paid partnership label. Tell us when a post is promotional: mark the request as promotional when you hand it in. A promotional item handed in without the mark is held until the mark is added, and we add the label ourselves before publishing. This applies to any post that advertises, endorses or is paid for by you or a third party, in the sense of the advertising rules of the country where the post appears.
Plans, billing and changes
Plans are monthly, billed in US dollars through Stripe, in advance for each billing month. Single covers one managed account; Studio covers five; Scale covers ten. The price of your plan is the one shown on inlocal.ai at the time you order. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice, and a change applies from your next renewal.
You can cancel at any time from your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period already paid for, and no further charge is made. You can change plan at a renewal.
Pause
You can pause your plan instead of cancelling it. While paused, the fee is 50 % of the account fee for each month of pause, the managed account is kept warm and reserved for you, and no posts are published. A pause starts at your next renewal if you request it before that date, and it ends when you ask us to resume. A plan paused for more than six months in a row is treated as terminated.
Termination and reclaiming the account
When your plan ends, whether you cancel or we terminate, the managed account is reclaimed by inlocal 30 days after the end date. During those 30 days your posts stay up and you can export your performance data. After that the account and the phone are reset. Because the account is inlocal's, it is not transferred to you at termination, and the content published on it may be removed when the account is reset.
We may terminate a plan with immediate effect if you hand in material that breaches these terms or a platform's rules after a warning, if a payment fails and is not resolved within 14 days, or if the law requires it.
Suspension, platform policy and account replacement
The service depends on platforms we do not control. The service may be suspended or reduced by platform policy changes or by an account restriction, and we will tell you as soon as we know. If an account is banned or restricted, we replace it under the following policy:
1. If the cause is our infrastructure or our operation, we replace the account at no charge.
2. If the cause is the content you handed in, a replacement account is provided at the cost of a new account fee.
3. If the cause cannot be determined, the cost of the replacement is shared equally between you and us.
A replacement account needs a warming period before it can publish, and the days on which no post could be published because of a suspension are not charged when the cause is ours.
Refunds
If a managed account was never activated for you (no post has been published and no warming has started under your plan), the fee paid for it is refunded in full on request. Once an account is active, the fee for the billing month already started is not refunded; cancellation applies to the following month. If we fail to publish any of your accepted items for a full billing month for a reason that is ours, that month is refunded or credited. Refunds are made to the payment method used at checkout. Mandatory consumer rights in your country, where they apply, are not limited by this section.
Liability
We take the operational risk of running accounts on real phones with local SIMs within the limits set out above; this is not an unlimited guarantee of reach, of an account's continued existence or of any platform's behaviour. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim in a billing month is limited to the fees you paid for that month, and we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profit or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for wilful misconduct or for anything that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms; the date at the top of this page is the date of the current version. A change that reduces your rights is announced at least 30 days before it takes effect and applies from your next renewal. The version you accepted at checkout is recorded with your order.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, and disputes are brought before the courts there, except that consumers keep the protection of the mandatory rules and the courts of the country where they live. For a customer in the Republic of Korea, the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce applies where it is mandatory.
